Are you ever in the middle of reading a book and then get distracted by other books? That’s me right now with The Little Paris Bookshop. I started reading that 6 days ago and am about half way throw it but a few days ago I started reading The Time Keeper and finished it the next day. I was going to go back to The Little Paris Bookshop after that but decided The Golden Yarn, which I’ve been waiting for for almost 2 years, deserved my attention more.
That brings me to my next point. Do you ever love the fantasy world in a book so much that no matter how long it’s been since you read the series you can still hope right back in without having to pause and figure out the world and it’s little nuances. The world is exactly as you remember it, even if you forgot minor details, and you can pick right back up without having to go back and reread the first few books. There are some books that you completely forget everything in them because they were that unmemorable and there are books that you can hop right into eight where you left off years late and it’s like coming home. Those are the books to cherish and never let go of. The ones that become a part of you and that you will always cherish no matter how long it’s been since you’ve read it.
